With his latest iconic flower print, Murakami pays homage to the work of Yves Klein, notable for his Nouveau réalisme work. This work features ‘International Klein Blue’ (IKB), centrally featured in Klein’s Proposte Monochrome, Epoca Blu (Proposition Monochrome; Blue Epoch) expedition.
